I read Mary’s autobiography, The Greater Inheritance, this past week and enjoyed it immensely. She treats so very fairly the circumstances of her upbringing and the events that led to their conversion to Christ.I appreciated Mary’s interesting style of writing, but more than that her carefulness to represent her Amish parents and siblings with respect and continual Christlike love.This is a fascinating read, which I would recommend to all!

Mary, Thank you for sharing your autobiography through writing. You have a wonderful gift of penning your experiences with empathy and honesty. I could feel the tug at your hearts as I read your book about when you decided to surrender your lives to Jesus and leave the life you had always known, your family and friends. . . .This is the answer to our prayers. I still have family that is Amish and my heart grieves for them. But a lot of my cousins are asking lots of question about the truth of God's word. I also was raised old order Amish, and this was a very true account of how they live and believe. It brought back such clear memories of those days. When we found the truth in Christ Jesus our Lord, we too shared with them, and when they would not accept the truth in Christ, we too left the Amish Church. We moved away from the area we had always lived in and begin serving Christ in a new area. - Ann
